Carbon Fiber Scale Bar

Our carbon fiber Scale Bars, available for use with Ø 1.5″ SMRs,  have good strength, low weight, dimensionally stable carbon fiber material with extremely low coefficient of thermal expansion .

This kind of Scale Bar can be used to validate the accuracy of a Metrology System in many  thermal environments. Them can be used to establish or verify system scale, can be used before, during and after a job to get confidence that the instrument has not shifted during the measures as well.

Lenght between the 1,5’’ SMRs drift nests is built to a certified distance validated on a CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machining). These items are available for different lengths (target center to center) with tolerance shown on technical specification.
